Roland Fryer, a Harvord Professor, made a bombshell statement in a recent interview with Bari Weiss:
What my paper showed... was that yes we saw some bias in the low level uses of force, everyday pushing up against cars and things like that. People seem to like that result but we didn't find any racial bias in police shootings. Now that was really surprising to me because I expected to see it...
Roland Fryer
Of course, this narrative goes against what the mainstream media and other well-learned professors are saying. Of course, Roland Fryer was hoping to prove what his colleagues were saying as true. But in seeking the truth aside from personal bias, it seems the data shows something different.

If society wishes to see legitimate change on social issues such as race and policing, it requires a genuine effort to find the truth. Otherwise, all change is based on a lie and no actual change will be achieved.
To find the truth on social issues, it requires getting into the trenches and seeing things from both perspectives. Over the last several years, there has been almost none of this from the side of Law Enforcement.
Roland Fryer, despite wanting to find evidence that promoted the mainstream narrative, did the right thing. He sought truth. He immersed himself into the world of policing and found that it's not what most people think.
Policing is hard. That's no excuse to do wrong. But it does explain why most people, who have no idea what it's like to work in Law Enforcement Officer, cannot fathom the decisions Officers make. In fact, it all but guaruntees that the lay man will be critical of life-or-death situations, believing they would make a different choice without ever having to experience the moment themselves.
Finding the TRUTH needs to be the utmost goal when attempting to bring about social change. This is the only way to ensure America is not ruled by falsehoods and influenced by lies.
Roland Fryer, in the course of conducting this research, couldn't believe the information he was finding. So, he fired the 8 research assistants he had worked with for over a year and hired 8 more. They found the exact same results.
After releasing his 140 page paper with a 150 page appendix to the public, Roland Fryer received a lot of public backlash. In fact, he received threats of violence and had to live under police protection for a time and constantly requires security around him.
Colleagues and researchers immediately cast doubt on his research, without actually providing evidence of any flaw.
Within a day, Roland Fryer went from being a prestigious Harvord thinker to a controversial figure, all because his research went against the mainstream narrative.
However, despite social pressure, Roland Fryer has continued his refusal to conform. He has decided to pursue truth, whether it's popular or not.
